Article in Review of Scientific Instruments

One of our papers has been recently published in the Journal Review of Scientific Instruments. The paper reported the construction and commissioning of a novel optical setup for ultrafast broadband spectroscopy
based on a three-pulse technique. The uniqueness of the experimental design lies in the simultaneous presence of two pumps of different tunable colors to selectively excite different degrees of freedom of the material both in the visible and in the mid-infrared energy range. In the paper, we describe the optical setup, the cryogenic sample environment, and the custom-made acquisition electronics and we apply on a mid-IR pump, optical push, and broadband probe in Y-Bi2212.
